Give Your Conference Table Some Power
When choosing a new conference table for your executive office, you have many things to consider. What size table do you need? Do you prefer a glass, stone or wooden table top? Which shape best suits your needs and office? While all of these are very important considerations, there are a few other options you should consider.
Data and Power Options for Modern Conference Tables
Two of the most popular options that customers of Stoneline Designs ask for are data ports and power outlets. It’s very important to have power and data ports close at hand to connect today’s electronic devices. Having a power outlet and data port built into your custom table top, insures that telephones, laptops, projectors, and presentation equipment can be easily connected.
Stoneline Designs offers many options when it comes to conference tables with power:
- 3/4″ pass-through hole with plastic grommet
- 2″d pass-through hole with Brushed Chrome or Black plastic grommet
- 4″d wiring grommet with 2 power, 2 data and spin-open style Brushed Alum. cap
- Center wiring trough with 1,2,or 3 small, medium or large outlet stations
Any of Stoneline’s conference tables with power can include a custom power and wiring system. Each of our contemporary conference tables is fitted with a power/data port that complements the table’s style. When not in use, they are cleverly concealed in the conference table top. If the modern conference tables include a pedestal, the wiring grommet or pop-up box will be centered over a pedestal, concealing wires, electrical and power cables for a seamless, professional appearance. Today, many executive conference rooms include a power outlet in the floor under the table pedestal, making power cables and electrical wires completely invisible. If the table design does not feature a pedestal, a wiring column is placed between leg plates to conceal any wires and power cables.
If you are choosing a new conference table with power for your boardroom or executive office, remember to consider how your electronic devices will be connected.
