Our responsibility to you doesn’t end when your conference table is made. We expertly crate and palletize your table for safe transport to your door.
First, a simple frame is built on the pallet.
Angled supports add stability to hold the glass table top upright.
Once the glass has been loaded onto the pallet, chipboard is secured to each side.
More supports are added to the other side of the glass, to secure it in place.
The glass is strapped to the pallet with metal tension strap. Here Bart uses a ratchet tool to tighten the metal strap.
The conference table rails are wrapped in cardboard and strapped to the pallet with plastic strap.
As an added protection, Brian places a layer of chipboard on top of the rails and secures it with more plastic strap.
Additional supports are added to make absolutely sure the glass remains upright during transit.
The leg plates are secured to the pallet with plastic strap and kick plates.
One final step: “Handle with Care” messages are spray painted onto both sides of the crate.
The crated, palletized table is ready to ship!
